Constant Microphone Volume
peripheral
The microphone’s volume is constant and is not audible. This can be a sign of a microphone that is not working properly.
Description
When a microphone is used, it captures the voice of the user and any sounds from his environment (background noise).
The level of sound captured always changes during the session depending on the activity of the user.
If this level is constant during the session and not audible, this means that no sound has been transmitted to the recipient and that this microphone is not working properly or the driver/system is not managing it correctly.
What do we do here?
We collect the audio level of the microphone and we mark an observation if all values are equals and less than 0.0001.
